Description

Wartalia srl was fonde on 22 April 2004. The whole group is made up of fourteen independent farmes who, operating in the sector of wine production, decided to pool their experience and professionalism in order to increase the profitability of their business trough the cultivation and transformation of grapes as well as the production and sale of high- quality wines.

Wartalia has approximately 50 hectares of vines located in the hills of the Telesina (or Calore) Valley and produces around 650 metric tons of grapes in several varieties - Aglianico, Flanghina, Fiano, Greco, Coda di Volpe, Malvasia and Sangiovese- and of three varieties Sannio DOC (AOC), Guardiola DOC and Beneventano IGT. There is a meaning in Wartalia. It is not the bouquet that delights the nose of its innumerable connoisseurs. It is not strong, yet never overpowering faste of the wines. The meaning lies in the slender thread that joins names, places and bottles. Reserves of mythology and tribes. Powerful strengths from which springs the history of a company which tkes the taste of pleasure, works it with skill and passion and transforms it into profound gratification. Down to the last drop.
