1974 - My wife Carmen, my son Angelo and I arrived in San Gimignano at the beginning of October 1974. With hard work and enthusiasm we begin to take care of the purchased cellar. We take lessons from the old root of the winegrowers of Tuscany, concerning the growing of the vineyards and the enological traditions. After one year, we developed our vineyard and bought one hectar more on the lowest part of the cellar, and inaugurated 900 mq. Of the new cellar consisting in a ground floor and an underground for the barrels. At the end of the seventies, we placed a refrigerator of 20.000 frigorie in our cellar, one of the first arriving in Tuscany. This gives us the possibility to apply a big part of the technical procedures for the wine-making of the white wines, still used today. Further to this the first important agreements of the national and international market started to arrive, the specialized press begins to consider our being punctually and carefully. Up to that date we never stopped to test new technologies and procedures, some of which we began to use even before their presentation on the national market.
2002 - Today our winery is one of the biggest on San Gimignano territory, with an estention of 180 ha. 91 ha. of them with vineyard, with a production of about 1.200.000 bottles in the latest years. Our mind, based on a continuous innovation in all our winery sections, is finalized to research a high quality product obtained with the maximal care in all production phases controlled by our staff, of more then 30 people, professional and constantly trained. We developed our cellar, especially with a new lead bottling line that gives us a better internal logistic and faster delivery terms.
