In 1955, 33 keen vine-growners coming from Montecchio Maggiore and the neighbouring towns founded the "Cantina Sociale dei Colli Vicentini", in the heart of an area renowned for its ancient qualified wine-growing tradition. Since then the Cellar made great steps forward, constantly engaged in the search for quality by updating its structure with the latest technology and by adapting itself to the different market inquiries .

Equipped with modern facility and projected to research and experimentation, the company has a valid operative structure and it is well represented in the whole Italy, in Europe and all over the world.
The commitment undertaken by Colli Vicentini is to aim at on the quality of the wines by safeguarding the characteristics of vines and by maintaining local traditions. Thanks to the work of its oenologists and agronomists, the cellar guarantees the entire process "from vineyard to sales" through the continual monitoring of the production, the diversified manufacturing of the grapes and the control of the vineyards in order to produce quality wines.

The rich Vicenza area offers a wonderful variety of typical products that are used to prepare a huge range of tasty and delicious dishes following the seasons. In Montecchio Maggiore there is a culinary tradition that is renowned for its originality, peculiarity and quality. Just think to the potato and bean minestrone with homemade pasta, to "bigoli col torcio" ( a type of spaghetti), to "Baccalà alla Vicentina"(Stockfish) and to "Bussolà", a typical Vicentine pancake prepared to celebrate all the important occasion, all accompanied by the excellent wines of the area.
