Description

Situated on the beautiful Lake Maggiore the camping is the perfect place to spent a wonderful relaxing time in northern Italy. A wide variety of different tourist and sport activities offered by the camping. The camping is built according to the most modern conceptions about tourism in the open air and it is equipped with a large beach situated in a hollow favourite with a particular climate.

In the 24,000 mq park there are beautiful wooden Tyrolese style bungalows sorrounded by flowers and greeneries. The camping is equipped with a lot of services such as cold & hot water, showers with automatic governors of temperature. In the camping itself, there is a common car parking, each tent ground is set in the shade, with grassy floor and berths for boats.

There is also a restaurant where it is possible to taste the good Italian cuisine!!! In the camping there is also a self service shop, coffee bar, a great swimming-pool, post and tephone. The chemist's shop is at about one Km. Hospital and vet clinic are not far from the camping. Welcome to Camping Smeraldo. Situated in a beautiful lakescape of Lago Maggiore: Camping Smeraldo (or Our camping) is the ideal place to spend thoughless holidays. The place is a Paradise for all who want to relax and enjoy the summer Italian hot sun. The sportsmen will find all what they need for different water sports and for the ones who want to enjoy themselves..."a lake of pleasure".

Cordiality and sympaty are two suitable adjectives to describe the atmosphere you'll immediately feel when you are set in this green and quiet park!!! The camping is supplied with tennis court, wolley ground, table tennis, children playground. If you like watersports you can easily practice water-skiing, attend sailing school or learn to swim.

If you like horse riding, not far from the camping there are several riding schools (English and American style) but it is also possible to ride through beautiful paths and reach unforgettable places.

If you like golfing, there is also the possibility to choose among numerous courses, some quite exclusive. The camping is the ideal place to start trips enjoying the beautiful landscapes around Lake maggiore and lake of Orta and doing shopping in the near Milan
