Mese is a small town of the Valtellina area, in the province of Sondrio, set on the right bank of the Mera river. It has very ancient origins, evidenced by the discovery of a necropolis dating back to the Iron Age. It was mentioned for the first time in an official document of 1016.
We suggest to visit the Church of San Vittore, already mentioned in 1153, with a typical gabled facade and rich in XV-XVII century sacred objects.
